- It's difficult for me to pigeon-hole myself. Anyone involved in marketing or demographics would find that I've slipped through the net. I'm a maverick. I remain a philosophical marxist (note the adjective), although I'm the first to say that capitalism won that titanic war when the Berlin Wall came down. I have a very low threshold for bullshit, can be sarcastic & generally assume the worst in people (that way, anything else is a bonus).

Don't worry there. He wasn't seeking a conversation with the nutty Left, the lefter-than-thou mob who'd leave the poor and vulnerable to the mercies of the Tories.
Don't vote Labour then. Find one excuse or another; they exist. Find one in Iraq or Afghanistan or Palestine. Find a vote for some party with no foreign policy. Try voting by polling up your own arse - because, frankly, that's where pious self-indulgence and doctrinal purity leaves you.
